Daylin-Rose Heather

Staff Attorney, Lāhui Services

Daylin-Rose H. Heather is a Staff Attorney at NHLC in the firm’s Lāhui Services practice group. Daylin’s practice includes matters to assist clients to mālama iwi kupuna, aloha ʻāina, and perpetuate traditional and customary practices, including ‘olelo Hawai’i, gathering, fishing, and hunting. As an advocate for descendants, community, and practitioners, Daylin’s practice involves complex civil litigation, appellate matters, and administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining NHLC, Daylin was the Special Assistant to the Administrative Director of the Courts where she worked closely with Judiciary leadership, legal partners, and community stakeholders to identify, develop, and support policies and initiatives that further the administration of justice, including efforts related to access to justice, equity and diversity, and the use of Hawaiian language in the courts, among other institutional priorities.

Daylin was born and raised in Kāneʻohe, Koʻolaupoko, Oʻahu, where she currently resides with her husband, three children, and dog ʻEle Boy.
